Class Descriptions

Class Description
H20 (aqua)

Change your mind about working out in the water.  Water creates 4-12 times the resistance than on land and is softer on your bones and joints.  All of our water classes are for every "body."  Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace and ability level.

 

H20 Intervals

Vary the intensity of your water workout by performing cardio intervals. Class is designed to focus on cardiovascular conditioning.

 

H20 Circuit

Alternate your cardiovascular conditioning with strength training performing a "circuit" of exercises for a total body water workout.

 

H20 Strength

Stronger muscles, without the joint pain! Train your whole body using gloves, dumbbells, noodles, and the resistance of the water.

 

Spinning ®  and Express 

The original indoor cycling workout! One of the many great things about the Spinning program is that it appeals to individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Because participants can control the resistance on their own Spinner bike, each individual gets a customized workout that's right for them.  Don't be shy- come give it a try!  Spinning express is 30 minutes!

 

Sports Circuit 

Challenge yourself to a circuit of cardiovascular drills sure to bring out the athlete in all of us.  Available to all levels of fitness.  Work at your own pace. A variety of equipment will be utilized including: Bosu, step, medicine ball, punch bags, and gliding discs. 

 

Extra Strength

Everyone could use a little "extra strength." Join us for a total body strength training workout using a variety of equipment.  The emphasis is strength not cardio. This workout is for all participants. We encourage you to work at your own pace and ability level.

 

Extra Strength Circuit

Same as Extra Strength but we will include bouts of cardiovascular activity!

 

Ultimate Boot Camp

Anything goes in this "ultimate" workout. Cardiovascular drills, strength training, military drills, track work.  Come prepared to work hard and mix things up in your boring fitness routine.  Workouts change weekly to keep your body guessing.

 

Bare Bones Boot Camp

No heavy metal equipment required. Using functional training, body weight, and very little equipment we will challenge you in ways that will keep you coming back for more. Come prepared to work hard and mix things up in your boring fitness routine.  Workouts change weekly to keep your body guessing.

 

Kardio Kombat

Train like a fighter in this heavy bag class without ever having to get into the ring. Real fight conditioning drills and sequencing will be used both on and off the bag including strength training, cardiovascular and power drills. All abilities are welcome. Hand wraps or gloves required.

 

Balance Body Challenge

An exciting blend of cardiovascular movements, core conditioning, body toning, balance work, and flexibility- this workout will leave you feeling invigorated from head to toe.

 

Abs Express

A 30 minute workout designed to strengthen your entire core, which includes: back, abs, thighs, and buttocks!

 

Fit For Kids

Designed for our 5- 8 year old population this class will have your children hop, skip, and jump their way into fitness!

 

Silver Sneakers®

Have fun as participants increase muscular strength, flexibility, and functional skills for improving daily living activities. This multi-level equipment based class takes you through a variety of exercises using hand weights, tubing, and a ball. Perfect for older adults. 

 

Zumba ®

Zumba® fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. Come prepared to shake it and sweat away those calories!

 

Morning Stretch

A great way to begin your day or end your early morning workout!  Take the time to stretch and lengthen the muscles in the body. 

 

Pilates

Find strength, stand tall, and feel beautiful! Diminish muscle imbalance, pain, and fatigue caused by physical and emotional stress using Joseph Pilates 34 unique mat exercises.  Shape, energize, and invigorate your body and soul.  Pilates is available to all levels.

 

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini yoga uses breath, yogic postures, and meditation to help maintain a healthy spine helping to strengthen the nervous and glandular systems.  Each class can help one become aware of much more than just the strength of the body.  It helps facilitate a change physically as well as emotionally and spiritually.  Kundalini Yoga is for the mind, body, and spirit.

 

Yoga

Learn to move your body and breath efficiently and effectively as you develop a comfortable relationship with your body, mind, and spirit.  Come release unnecessary tension and stress through graceful movement patterns, breath work, and deep relaxation. Flow: Available to all levels; however, our intention is to create flowing sequences. Sport: Designed for the Athlete in us all. Poses and sequencing are meant to release muscle tightness and relieve soreness. Hot: intentionally heated room that helps facilitate muscle length and take your practice to another level. Basics: For the beginning Yogi offering a very gentle approach.

 Hip Hop
  All levels are welcome in this Urban Hip Hop Class.  Come and break down the dance movements and then combine them together to create an amazing dance sequence. Come get your GROOVE ON
